Keith Stewart
Mr. Stewart's practice areas include criminal defense, personal injury, medical malpractice, civil rights, products liability, technology - law and consulting for small businesses, as well as employer related issues; contracts and construction law and law office management. Mr. Stewart has represented clients in felony and misdemeanor criminal trials ranging from shoplifting to felony drug possession, aggravated assault and homicide. During his nine years with McGehee, Stewart, Cole, Dupree, & Roper, Mr. Stewart has litigated numerous civil cases, including civil rights violations, personal injuries involving auto and truck accidents and personal injuries stemming from defective products.

Deno Cole
Mr. Cole's pratice areas include general litigation, personal injury, criminal defense, bankruptcy, corporate law, construction law, estate planning, divorce, child custody and child support cases, representing both corporate and individual clients in all state and federal courts. Mr. Cole has practiced law with McGehee, Stewart, Cole, Dupree & Roper, for the past four year and has represented clients in over 150 mediations.

John Dupree
Mr. Dupree's has extensive civil litigation experience in state and federal courts, including experience with mediation and arbitration. Mr. Dupree has served as lead counsel in products' liability, class actions, premises liability, worker's compensation, medical malpractice, black lung, personal injury and coverage opinions cases. Additionally, he has significant experience in employment law and related practice including advising corporate and hospital clients in hiring, termination, personnel decisions, disability considerations, COBRA, employee benefits, harassment, discrimination and worker's compensation matters; drafting drug testing policies; investigation of employee thefts; litigation and administrative agency experience in sexual harassment, disability discrimination, ERISA, unemployment compensation and worker's compensation.
During his legal career, Mr. Dupree was lead council in Bridges v. Security Insurance Company of Hartford, No. E1999-01775-WC-R3-CV, (Tenn. Nov. 3, 2000) (holding that permanent partial disability benefits are not available for pneumoconiosis claims; opinion recommended for publication); Lett v. Collis Foods, No. E-2000-02776-COA-R3-CV (liability of employer for acts of its off-duty, off-premises employees); Harken et al v. United States Cellular Corporation, Docket No. 1-290-00, Knox County Circuit Court (consumer class action for undisclosed fees and billing practices).

Tyler Roper
Mr. Roper holds his Bachelor of Arts from The University of the South in Sewanee, TN and his J.D. from the University of Tennessee College of Law with a concentration in business transactions. After graduation, he worked as an associate attorney for Wagner, Myers and Sanger, P.C., where he represented large corporate clients, such as Regal Entertainment Group, and large hospital systems and insurance companies, such as Covenant Health and Cariten Insurance Company. Mr. Roper now represents both corporate and private clients in his own law practice in Knoxville, TN.
